THE MAKING PROCESS
PLEATING
First part of the process is making the pleats on a traditional pleater machine.
GATHERING
Then comes the pulling of the threads and gathering of the fabric.
HAND EMBROIDERY
Hours and hours of meticulous embroidery, using different decorative stitches. Diamonds with golden threads and little flowers in faded rose, all made with DMC cotton thread.
